Zoobilation with Indianapolis

I went to Zoobilation on Friday June 12, 2009. The event was a fundraiser to promote and raise money for the KOMODO DRAGON that they brought into the zoo for a few months. It was the most amazing event that I had ever seen.

It was a clear beautiful cool night at the zoo overlooking the river. At the end of the Indianapolis Indians (AAA Minor League Baseball) game that night there were fireworks which had a great reflection off the river. There were thousands of people laughing, talking, and smiling people all around. The music was everywhere with 5 or so different stages strategically placed throughout the zoo. All the different restaurants had a variety of foods that were to die for. Everyone was dressed up in there suits and dresses and made me feel like I was
someone very important to be at that event.

Alcatraz Brewing Company had the busiest booth out of all the booths I walked past! These people were joking with the staff who was working the event and enjoying some of the best mouth watering ribs they have ever tasted. Our Chef, Ryan Wagner, did an amazing job putting our part of the event together and cooking the best ribs ever.

What an experience!
